I started working seasonally with ESPN and the SEC Network in the fall of 2014.
My position as a Utility for the production team consists of using a parab to capture audio and operating an LED camera light for sideline reporters at college football games.

For college basketball games, I have the roles of handling cable cords using the over/under coiling technique for the handheld camera operator and shadowing the sideline reporter by observing the manner in which they get prepared for halftime and postgame interviews.
t has been truly inspiring to meet sports personalities such as Stephen A. Smith (ESPN’s First Take), Maria Taylor (SEC Nation), Laura Rutledge (SEC Nation), Kara Lawson (ESPN Analyst), Tom Hart (ESPN Analyst), Mark Jones (ESPN Analyst), Tiffany Greene (ESPN Analyst) and Heather Mitts (Olympic Gold Medalist).
I can honestly say there is nothing better than working in the world of sports. It never gets old. Besides the high level of competition displayed during games, the best part of the industry is interacting with so many people from different backgrounds.
