Oshae Brissett signs 10-day contract with Indiana Pacers

Former Syracuse basketball player Oshae Brissett has signed a 10-day contract with the Indiana Pacers, according to ESPN senior NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski.

Brissett, a 6-foot-8 forward, is coming off a commendable season in the G-League where he averaged 18.6 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 12 games with the Fort Wayne Mad Antz. He earned 2nd team All G-League honors last season.

In the 2019-20 season, Brissett appeared in 19 games and averaged 7.1 minutes with the Toronto Raptors, who signed him on a two-way contract. He was waived by the Raptors in December.

Brissett joins a group of five former Syracuse players that are currently active in the NBA, including Carmelo Anthony (Portland Trail Blazers), Jerami Grant (Detroit Pistons), Michael Carter-Williams (Orlando Magic) and Elijah Hughes (Utah Jazz).
